The amount of data damage to homes and buildings continues to grow. The 6.9 SR earthquake that rocked West Java, Central Java and southern DIY on 15/12/2017 at 23:47 pm has caused 2,935 houses damaged. The damage was found in West Java, Central Java and Yogyakarta with the most affected areas in West Java.
Based on preliminary data on Sunday (17/12/2017) at 14:30 pm, the impact of the earthquake caused 4 people died, 11 people were seriously injured, 25 people lightly injured, 451 houses severely damaged, 579 homes were damaged, and 1,905 houses damaged light. In addition, there were 46 school / madrasah damages, 38 units of worship, 9 offices and 4 hospitals and puskesmas. A total of 200 people were displaced in Pamarican District, Ciamis Regency.
Earthquakes did not damage vital public facilities and infrastructure such as roads, bridges, electric utilities, drinking water utilities, and others. Data collection is still underway. It is estimated that the amount of damage will increase.
