The earthquake was particularly violent at Anyi and
Gucheng. Some people were killed.
Shocks also struck Puzhou Prefecture (the seat of local
government was located at Yongji), Xiezhou,
Jiangxian, Xiaxian, Pinglu, Ronghe, Wenxi, Ruicheng
and Yishi in Shanxi Province; and Heyang,
Hancheng, Yan'an and Luochuan in Shaanxi Province.
