...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN NORTHAMPTON COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out 
of the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
northwestern New Jersey...and eastern and northeastern Pennsylvania.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN SUSSEX...NORTHERN WARREN AND EAST CENTRAL MONROE
COUNTIES...

At 201 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Blairstown, or 9 miles west of Newton, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Newton, Blairstown, Hope, Delaware Water Gap, Andover,
Flatbrookville, Allamuchy-Panther Valley, Lake Mohawk, Werry Lake,
Greendell, Millbrook, Five Points, Echo Lake, Great Meadows-Vienna,
Shawnee, Marshalls Creek, and Hidden Lake.

This includes Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and
2, and between mile markers 6 and 19.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

This cluster of thunderstorms is capable of producing tornadoes and
widespread significant wind damage. Do not wait to see or hear the
tornado. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest
floor of a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN SUSSEX...NORTHERN WARREN AND
EAST CENTRAL MONROE COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 215 PM EDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning will
be allowed to expire.  However heavy rain is still possible with this
thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
northwestern New Jersey...and eastern and northeastern Pennsylvania.

agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Mount Holly NJ.
