Hot conditions persist, with heat index values forecast to be in the upper 90s to low 100s over the next five to seven days. Daily rain and thunderstorm chances are possible each afternoon through at least the middle of the week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta.
