This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Line of strong to potentially severe storms is possible late this
evening through the overnight hours. Storms will be capable of
producing torrential rainfall and localized flooding. Damaging winds
and a few tornadoes are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Unsettled weather will persist this week with thunderstorms possible
each day. The stronger storms could produce torrential rainfall,
localized flooding, and gusty winds.

Hot and humid conditions are expected, with heat index values
possibly exceeding 100 Tuesday through Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed.

Any users of this storm motion must be aware that thunderstorm activity
can be erratic and constantly evolving.  Please use this with caution

CRAWFORD...NORTHERN PERRY...NORTHWESTERN MEADE AND NORTH CENTRAL
BRECKINRIDGE COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT EDT/1100 PM CDT/...

At 1112 PM EDT/1012 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 10 miles northeast of Santa Claus, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Jasper, Carefree Town, Mount Pleasant, Huntingburg, Ferdinand,
Leopold, Birdseye, Leavenworth, Alton, and Ranger.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM EDT/300 AM
