A line of strong to severe thunderstorms will track across the
western Carolinas and northeast Georgia this morning into early this
afternoon ahead of a strong cold front. Damaging wind gusts will be
the main hazard, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Additionally, moderate to heavy downpours may lead to isolated
nuisance flooding, mainly along the Blue Ridge Escarpment.

a line extending from near Hayesville to 5 miles east of Cleveland.
Movement was northeast at 35 mph.
