Wintry precipitation remains possible across parts of the area this morning, especially along and north of M-32. This should transition to rain this morning in most areas south of the Bridge. Rainfall in combination with snowmelt could lead to areas of localized flooding. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms across northern Lower Michigan this afternoon into tonight. A period of heavy snowfall is also expected tonight, primarily across the eastern U.P. Strong winds will further deteriorate hazardous driving conditions.
