...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL TAOS
AND EAST CENTRAL RIO ARRIBA COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 PM MDT...

At 1140 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
El Rito, or 22 miles north of Espanola, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Vallecitos, El Rito, Petaca, Ojo Caliente, Las Placitas, La Madera
and Las Tablas.

This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 347 and 373.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
