This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of East Arkansas...
the Missouri Bootheel...North Mississippi...and West Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected through mid-evening
over portions of East Arkansas, West Tennessee, and North
Mississippi. Damaging winds and large hail will be the main
threats for any thunderstorms that reach severe limits.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for portions of Northeast
Arkansas, and the Missouri Bootheel Thursday afternoon for dry
fuels, low relative humidity and gusty northwest to north winds.

Frost is possible late Monday night into Tuesday morning across
portions of West Tennessee as colder air filters into the Mid-
South.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed through mid-evening across
portions East Arkansas, West Tennessee and North Mississippi in
support of severe weather operations. Please relay any
information about observed severe weather to the NWS while
following all local, state, and CDC guidelines.

southwestern St. Francis Counties through 330 PM CDT...

At 302 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
New Salem, or near Palestine, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northeastern
Marshall, Tippah, Benton, Alcorn, Hardeman, McNairy and southwestern
Chester Counties through 345 PM CDT...

At 319 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Silerton to 8 miles northwest of
Pocahontas to near Canaan to near Snow Lake Shores. Movement was
southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.
