The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 396
continues.
SUMMARY...The damaging wind threat will continue across watch 396
for a few more hours.
DISCUSSION...The line of storms has become less organized over the
past few hours with two separate areas of more organized convection
in Massachusetts and northern Pennsylvania. The storms in western
Massachusetts are showing greater intensity which may provide an
area with a greater chance for damaging wind over the next 1 to 2
hours. Wind speeds in excess of 35 kts at less than 1km have been
sampled by the KENX VWP. which also support a greater opportunity
for damaging winds. Expect at least isolated damaging winds to
continue to the coast this evening.
