This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of
Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Widespread moderate to heavy rainfall is expected again today,
along with some strong to severe thunderstorms. Flash flooding,
hail, and strong gusty winds can be expected with some storms
through late tonight.

Elevations above around 10,000 feet may see a changeover to snow
for a time tonight behind a cold front.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Showers and thunderstorms will continue through at least
Thursday, maintaining some potential for locally heavy rain.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information
about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all
local, state, and CDC guidelines.

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Wasatch
and southwestern Summit Counties through 315 PM MDT...

At 251 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Francis, or 10 miles northeast of Heber City, moving northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kamas, Oakley, Francis, Samak, Trial Lk, Marion, Woodland and
Jordanelle Reservoir.

This includes the following highways...
 Utah Route 35 between mile markers 0 and 8.
 Mirror Lake Highway between mile markers 0 and 14, near mile marker
17, and between mile markers 20 and 21.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
northern Utah.

through 400 PM MDT...

At 314 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles northeast of Big Water, or 21 miles north of Page, moving
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Kane
County.
