The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Coke County in west central Texas...
  Northeastern Sterling County in west central Texas...

* Until 1015 PM CDT.

* At 719 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen from north of Sterling City, across northeast Sterling 
  and northwest Coke counties. The heavy rainfall should remain 
  north of Sterling City. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing 
  or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Also,
           flooding is possible along Highway 158 and motorists
           should be alert and slow down.
