The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Oregon County in south central Missouri...
  Shannon County in south central Missouri...

* Until 615 PM CDT Wednesday.

* At 1207 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has 
  fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible 
  in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly. Streams likely impacted by this excessive rainfall 
  includes the Jacks Fork River, Howell Creek, Spring River, Big 
  Creek, Gladden Creek, and the Eleven Point River.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
