* Until 1155 AM CDT.
* At 855 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported flooding due to
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Trained spotters.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

This Flash Flood Warning is being replaced by an ongoing Flash Flood
Warning for northern Desha County. Additional heavy rainfall may
worsen ongoing flooding or, at the least, prevent water from
receding quickly. Please continue to heed local officials and do not
enter flood waters.
