The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Desha County in southeastern Arkansas...

* Until 845 AM CDT.

* At 546 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is likely ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Rohwer, Arkansas City, Tillar, Lucca Landing, Kelso, Jersey Point, 
  McGehee, Reed, McArthur, Halley and Masonville.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM CDT THIS 
MORNING FOR SOUTHERN DESHA COUNTY...

At 651 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have 
already fallen. Flash flooding has been reported by local law 
enforcement around the county.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
