MORNING FOR FAULKNER, NORTH CENTRAL PULASKI AND SOUTHEASTERN VAN
BUREN COUNTIES...
At 1241 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that heavy rain was falling across the warned area. Between 3 and 6
inches of rain have fallen over the past 2 to 4 hours. While the
heaviest rainfall has ended...additional rainfall amounts of up to
an inch or so will be possible. This added rainfall...along with the
very heavy rainfall from earlier will take some time to run off. As
a result...the threat for flash flooding is expected to continue.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
