The National Weather Service in League City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Montgomery County in southeastern Texas...
  North central Harris County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 1015 PM CDT.

* At 944 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Montgomery to near The Woodlands to near Hooks
  Airport, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Conroe, Tomball, Willis, Pinehurst, The Woodlands, Spring, Oak
  Ridge North, Panorama Village, Shenandoah, Splendora, Patton
  Village, Magnolia, Woodbranch, Cut And Shoot, Montgomery,
  Stagecoach, Woodloch, The Woodlands Pavillion, Chateau Woods and
  Lake Conroe Dam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for southeastern
Texas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.

If on or near lake Conroe, get away from the water and move indoors 
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles 
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close 
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not 
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR MONTGOMERY AND NORTH CENTRAL
HARRIS COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 1015 PM CDT...
            
The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However gusty
winds are still possible with these thunderstorms.
