...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CAMERON COUNTY UNTIL 1145 AM
CDT...

At 1120 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Boca Chica Beach to 20 miles south of Fort
Brown Memorial Golf Course. Movement was southeast at 50 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
San Benito, Los Fresnos, South Padre Island, Rancho Viejo, Rio Hondo,
Los Indios, Southmost, Rangerville, Olmito and Port Of Brownsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
