A gale force front extending SW to NE across the eastern gulf 
tracks slowly E through Friday afternoon as a hurricane force low 
approaches from the S. The hurricane force low weakens slightly to
storm force as it tracks NE Friday night and makes landfall near 
Cape Fairweather Saturday morning. On Sat a ridge of high pressure
builds across the Panhandle as low pressure remains in the 
northern gulf.

A storm force low over Mt. Fairweather continues NE into the
Canadian Yukon. A ridge of high pressure builds over the Inner
Channels today but weakens tonight. A weak front crosses the
gulf today and reaches the Panhandle tonight as a weak low
follows into the central gulf Sun.
