...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN ERIE COUNTY...
At 1243 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Kenmore,
moving east at 35 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Buffalo, Cheektowaga, North Tonawanda, Clarence, Kenmore, Amherst,
Tonawanda, Williamsville, Grand Island, Akron, Clarence Center and
East Amherst.
This includes Interstate 90 between exits 51 and 49.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
