This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

There is a chance for a few thunderstorms today and tonight.
Locally moderate rain is possible at times today. Rain combined
with melting snow could cause streams and rivers across north
central portions of Kansas to flood. Thus, a flood watch will go
into effect this evening along and north of a line from Abilene to
Seneca.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Moderate to heavy rain is expected Wednesday so the flood watch will
remain in effect until Wednesday evening.

Southerly winds are forecast to strengthen Wednesday afternoon to
20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts as high as 40 miles per hour.
West and northwest winds will increase to 25 to 35 miles per hour
Thursday with gusts as high as 45 miles per hour. A high wind
watch will be in effect for Thursday morning and afternoon in
north central Kansas.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
