At 1235 PM EDT, an area of heavy showers were located near Perry and Silver Springs, moving northeast at 10 mph. These showers were producing locally heavy rainfall, which may result in ponding of water in poor drainage areas. Locations impacted include... Geneseo, Letchworth State Park, Perry, Warsaw, Mount Morris, Varysburg, York, Silver Springs, Leicester, Wyoming, Perry Center, Silver Lake, Orangeville Center and Sonyea. ...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT EAST CENTRAL LIVINGSTON AND
SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO COUNTIES...
At 200 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Hemlock, or 7
miles east of Geneseo, moving east at 15 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm along with very heavy rainfall.
Locations impacted include...
Bristol, Honeoye, Hemlock, Canadice, Livonia, Lakeville, Bristol
Mountain and South Lima.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
