...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN LARUE AND
SOUTHEASTERN HARDIN COUNTIES...

At 912 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Elizabethtown,
moving east at 25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Elizabethtown, Lebanon Junction, Athertonville, Cecilia, Roanoke,
Addington Field Airport, Glendale, Younger Creek, Crest and Gaithers.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES...

At 927 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 8 miles east of New Castle to 9 miles
west of Frankfort to 9 miles west of Lawrenceburg. Movement was east
at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms. At 915 PM
EDT, the Kentucky Mesonet station in northeast Shelby county
measured a 40 mph wind gust in association with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Frankfort, Lawrenceburg, Versailles, Midway, Stamping Ground,
Longlick, Slickway, Farmdale, Harvieland and Elmville.
