...FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR ELLISVILLE TO GLADE TO LAUREL TO 
SOSO TO SANDERSVILLE...

The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Jones County in southeastern Mississippi...

* Until 300 AM CST.

* At 1059 PM CST, emergency management reported reported flash 
  flooding across the warned area with reports of homes taking on 
  water in Laurel and Glade and an ongoing water rescue in the 
  Glade. Estimated rainfall amounts so far across the warned area 
  range from 4 to 8 inches. 

This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Ellisville, Glade, Laurel, Soso, 
and Sandersville in central and northern portions of Jones County. 
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Laurel, Ellisville, Sandersville, Mill Creek, Tuckers Crossing and
  Soso.

Additional localized rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches remain 
possible in the warned area through the remainder of the night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.
