across much of western Wisconsin into northeast Iowa and far 
southeast Minnesota. Flash flooding and mud slides have also been 
reported in some areas by law enforcement and highway departments.

Mauston, Waukon, Caledonia, Lansing, Westby, Readstown, Soldiers 
Grove, Elroy, Hillsboro, Spring Grove, Cashton, Wonewoc, Stoddard, 
Coon Valley, La Farge, New Albin, Brownsville, Harpers Ferry, and

At 1057 PM CDT, flash flooding has been reported across western into 
southwest Wisconsin and Allamakee County in northeast Iowa. 2 to 
locally 4 inches of rain has fallen, and an additional 1 to 2 inches 
are possible, especially across Crawford, Richland, and southern 
Juneau and Adams Counties through 12:30 AM.

Excessive rainfall over the warned area will cause mud slides near
steep terrain. The mud slide can consist of rock, mud, vegetation 
and other loose materials. In addition, numerous roads have been 
closed due to high water.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mauston, Waukon, Caledonia, Lansing, Westby, Readstown, Soldiers 
Grove, Elroy, Hillsboro, Spring Grove, Cashton, Wonewoc, Stoddard, 
Coon Valley, La Farge, New Albin, Brownsville, Harpers Ferry, and 
Germantown.

At 433 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain of 2 to 4 inches 
had fallen across parts of the warning area, mainly between 8 pm and 
2 am. The rains across the area had diminished across the area early 
this morning. Flash flooding has been reported with water over roads 
in places, especially in parts of Vernon County.

At 601 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated as much as 2 to 6 inches of 
rain had fallen across parts of the warning area between roughly 8 
pm Monday evening and 2 am this morning. Numerous roads are reported 
under water in parts of southern Monroe and Juneau counties to 
northern Richland county.
