* Flash Flood Warning for...
  East central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 500 PM MST

* At 300 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain near southwest Tucson including Tucson Estates. Flash 
  flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Tucson, Sahuarita, Littletown, Drexel Heights, Summit, Tucson 
  Estates, Valencia West, East Sahuarita, South Tucson, Ryan Field, 
  San Xavier Mission and Tucson International Airport.

This includes the following streams and drainages...Santa Cruz
River...Chico Arroyo and West Branch Santa Cruz River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of washes
and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well
as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Only light to moderate rain remains over portions of west and 
southwest Tucson including the Tucson Estates and San Xavier Mission 
area. Flash flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat, however 
some street flooding and heavy flow in washes will continue into the 
evening hours. Please continue to heed any remaining road closures.
