* At 244 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across portions of southeast 
  Pima County from near Vail and Corona de Tucson to southwest 
  Cochise county and the Huachuca City area. Flash flooding is 
  expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Huachuca City, Vail, Corona De Tucson and Whetstone.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM MST FOR
EAST CENTRAL PIMA...WEST CENTRAL COCHISE AND NORTHEASTERN SANTA CRUZ
COUNTIES...

At 351 PM MST, Doppler radar continued to indicate thunderstorms 
producing heavy rainfall across eastern pima, west central Cochise 
and northeastern Santa Cruz counties. These thunderstorms have shown 
little movement. A spotter in Corona de Tucson reported 1.26 inches 
of rainfall in 40 minutes and a spotter in Whetstone reported 1 inch 
of rainfall in 35 minutes. 

Normally dry washes and low water crossings may be inundated in the
following locations...
Sierra Vista, Huachuca City, Vail, Corona De Tucson, Whetstone and
Elgin.

Apache Canyon...San Pedro River...Middle Canyon Wash...Slaughter
House Wash...Babocomari River...Agua Verde Creek...Gardner Canyon...

Rainfall has greatly diminished in the Vail and Whetstone areas. 
Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat, however some street 
flooding and heavy flow in normally dry streambeds and washes will 
continue into the evening hours. Please continue to heed any 
remaining road closures.
