Concerning...Tornado Watch 263...

The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 263 continues.

SUMMARY...Overall threat across much of southern GA into far
northern FL and far southern SC appears to be diminishing as earlier
convection has largely stabilized the boundary layer. However, a
severe threat, along with the risk for a few tornadoes, will
continue across central SC. Portions of WW 263 may be canceled early
if convective trends continue to decline.

DISCUSSION...The tornado threat appears to be quickly diminishing
across much of Tornado Watch 263. Deep-layer flow has veered across
much of southwest GA as earlier vort max continues to lift northward
away from the region and a dryslot begins to shift east from AL.
Additionally, earlier convection that moved across northern FL and
is now over coastal southeast GA into far southern SC has largely
stabilized southern portions of the watch area. Some severe threat,
including potential tornadoes, is still possible across northern
portions of the watch area across central South Carolina where
stronger instability exists and low level flow is still backed from
the southeast. Depending on convective trends, portions of WW 263
may be canceled early by local WFOs.
