This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southeast New
Mexico, southwest Texas and western Texas.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Hot temperatures are expected through mid evening. All but the
highest elevations are expected to have highs at or above 100
degrees, with many locations exceeding 105 degrees. A Heat Advisory
is in effect through mid evening.

Fire danger will be high across Southeast New Mexico and parts of
Trans Pecos through mid evening due to unseasonably hot temperatures
and dry air.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

Very hot temperatures are expected Saturday with high temperatures
10-15 degrees above normal, exceeding 105 degrees in many locations.
A Heat Advisory is in effect Saturday for west Texas and southeast
New Mexico.

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible Saturday afternoon
across portions of the Guadalupe Mountains, Southeast New Mexico,
and the Trans Pecos. Hot temperatures and consequent low relative
humidity will be the main threats, but lower winds will limit greater
concerns.
