Some of the thunderstorms will be capable of producing frequent lightning, periods of torrential rainfall, and strong gusty winds. There is a marginal risk of severe weather, primarily during the afternoon and evening hours. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for portions of east central Louisiana and extreme southwest Mississippi through this afternoon. Additional rainfall amounts of up to one inch are possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Small Craft Advisory conditions are likely to develop across the coastal waters during the first half of the work week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and evening in support of severe thunderstorm and flash flood monitoring. 32
