The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern St. Helena Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
  Southeastern Amite County in southern Mississippi...

* Until 515 AM CDT
    
* At 424 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Gillsberg, or 10 miles north of Greensburg, moving
  northeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northeastern St. Helena Parish in southeastern Louisiana and
  southeastern Amite Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile
home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and
protect yourself from flying debris.

At 443 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Gillsberg, or 14 miles north of Greensburg, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
