The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a 

* Flood Warning for 
  The Great Miami River near Middletown
* until late tonight.
* At 2 AM the stage was 11.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 12 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* The river will rise above flood stage by early this morning and 
  continue to rise to near 13.0 feet by this afternoon. The river will 
  fall below flood stage by this evening.
* At stages near 14.0 feet, Water further inundates properties near 
  Route 73 from the east side of the river to Excello.  Several homes 
  and businesses become inundated.  The City of Middletown itself is 
  protected by flood walls and levees to a stage of 24 feet.

* At 9 AM the stage was 11.3 feet.
* The river fell below flood stage this morning.
* Flood stage is 12 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to 8.3 feet by Tuesday morning.
* At stages near 11.0 feet, Water affects some private property areas 
  along either side of Route 73 from the east side of the river 
  approaching Excello.  The city of Middletown is protected by levees 
  and floodgates to a level of 24 feet.
