The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Thomas County in northwestern Kansas...
  West central Sheridan County in northwestern Kansas...

* Until 1130 PM CDT
    
* At 1058 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located 4 miles southeast of Gem, or 10 miles east of
  Colby, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* Locations impacted include...
  Rexford, Gem, Menlo, Mingo, Halford and Seguin. 

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 61 and 63.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM CDT FOR EAST
CENTRAL THOMAS AND WEST CENTRAL SHERIDAN COUNTIES...
    
At 1110 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Menlo, or 15 miles west of Hoxie, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

Locations impacted include...
Menlo and Seguin.
