...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM MDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN KIT CARSON AND NORTHWESTERN SHERMAN COUNTIES...
    
At 729 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles southeast of Bonny Reservoir, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Kit Carson and northwestern Sherman Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN KIT CARSON AND NORTHWESTERN
SHERMAN COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
    
The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has weakened. 
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However small hail, 
gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
northeastern and east central Colorado. A severe thunderstorm watch
also remains in effect until 200 AM MDT for northwestern Kansas.
