The National Weather Service in Des Moines  has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Poweshiek County in central Iowa...
  Eastern Jasper County in central Iowa...

* Until 815 PM CST.

* At 743 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Iowa Speedway, or 7 miles south of Newton, moving
  northeast at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Rock Creek Lake around 800 PM CST. 
  Grinnell around 805 PM CST. 

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Searsboro, Lynnville, Kellogg, Grinnell Regional Airport, Reasnor,
Oakland Acres, Sully, Rock Creek State Park and Newton Municipal
Airport.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 168 and 188.

At 759 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 9 miles south of Grinnell, moving northeast at 70 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

This dangerous storm will be near...
  Grinnell around 810 PM CST. 

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Searsboro, Lynnville, Grinnell Regional Airport and Sully.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 178 and 187.
