* Until 245 PM EDT

* At 1042 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated torrential rainfall moving 
  onshore across much of the southern South Carolina into Southeast 
  Georgia. As much as 2 to 4 inches of rain has already fallen 
  across much of the warned area and heavy rain will continue to 
  move onshore as Hurricane Irma moves north this morning. The risk 
  for flash flooding will continue to increase into the early 
  afternoon hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Springfield, Yemassee, Estill, Gifford, Newington, Furman, Oliver
  and Scotia.

At 139 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated bands of heavy rain moving 
inland associated with Hurricane Irma. Reports of widespread 
flooding have been received across portions of the warned area. The 
risk for flash flooding continues as additional bands move through. 

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Springfield, Yemassee, Estill, Gifford, Newington, Furman, Oliver and
Scotia.

The flash flood warning has been replaced with an areal Flood 
Warning. The heavy rain has mostly ended. Please continue to heed 
any remaining road closures. Salt water flooding will continue near 
marshes.
