* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Norfolk County in eastern Massachusetts...
  Suffolk County in eastern Massachusetts...

* Until 845 PM EDT

* At 642 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated more thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain moving through metro Boston. Some locations 
  around Dorchester have already picked up more than 3 inches of 
  rain, and significant street flooding was still occurring. This 
  additional rainfall will result in additional flooding. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Boston, Dorchester, Cambridge, Quincy, Newton, Brookline, 
  Weymouth, Braintree, Needham, Norwood, Wellesley, Milton, Dedham, 
  Walpole, Hingham, Canton, Winthrop, Westwood, Medfield, Hull and 
  Dover.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding could become life threatening for those who try to drive 
through flooded roads or underpasses. Find alternate routes and 
avoid flooded areas!

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN NORFOLK AND SUFFOLK
COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 845 PM EDT...

The flash flood warning will be allowed to expire on time at 845 pm. 
While it was still raining, rainfall rates have diminished 
considerably and flood waters are receding.  No additional flooding 
is expected, but a few roads may still remain flooded especially in 
the Dorchester area where 3 to 4 inches of rain fell earlier this 
evening in a very short period of time.  Please continue to heed any 
remaining road closures.
