* At 212 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  torrential rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected 
  to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Buckland, Ashfield, Colrain, Charlemont, Goshen, Cummington, Heath,
  Plainfield, Rowe and Hawley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding will occur quickly, and

torrential rain across parts of northwest Massachusetts. Rapid 
flooding of roadways and small streams is expected.
