There is a slight risk for flash flooding over eastern New Mexico where locally heavy rainfall is possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms over the far northeast plains Thursday. Storms will be capable of producing large hail, strong downburst winds, frequent lightning, and flash flooding. A more significant moisture surge will produce a large coverage of storms over NM Friday and through the weekend.
