Thursday morning and crest at 24.2 feet by 7 pm Thursday evening. The
river is expected to fall below flood stage by 11 am Friday morning.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet...Moderate lowland flooding reaches bottomlands above
Bastrop near the Colorado River and Piney and Wilbarger Creek confluences.
Water begins to enter the city park and officials will close the park.

around 1 pm Friday afternoon. The river is then expected to then begin
falling but will still remain above flood stage up through 7 am Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 32.0 feet...Moderate lowland flooding reaches the flood plain near
La Grange. Homes in the Fritsch Auf Subdivision on the south bank of the
Colorado River may be threatened if heavy runoff down Buckners Creek adds to
the Colorado River flow at this level..

* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by late this
afternoon.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding reaches secondary roads,
crossings and low bridges. Low areas of LBJ National Park upstream are
flooded. Swimmers and recreationists should leave the river downstream in
Pedernales Falls State Park..
