AT 640 PM EST...A BAND OF HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW PRODUCING SNOW FALL
RATES OF UP TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR WAS LOCATED ALONG A LINE FROM THE
CITY OF BUFFALO TO THE BUFFALO AIRPORT...EXTENDING THROUGH CLARENCE
AND AKRON.

THIS BAND OF HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY DRIFT
NORTH THIS EVENING.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
BUFFALO...CHEEKTOWAGA...WEST SENECA...NORTH TONAWANDA...CLARENCE...
LACKAWANNA...KENMORE...DEPEW...AMHERST AND TONAWANDA.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 90 BETWEEN EXITS 56 AND 48A.

VISIBILITIES WILL DROP QUICKLY TO NEAR ZERO AT TIMES IN THIS BAND OF
LAKE EFFECT SNOW.

CONDITIONS CAN DETERIORATE RAPIDLY IN WINTER WEATHER SITUATIONS. BE
