DISCUSSION... HEAVY RAINS FROM OVERNIGHT RAINFALL HAS CONTRIBUTED TO SUBSTANTIAL FLOODING ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40. NUMEROUS SMALL STREAMS REMAIN OUT OF THEIR BANKS AND SEVERAL LARGER MAIN STEM RIVERS ALSO REMAIN IN FLOOD. SEVERAL ROADS REMAIN CLOSED DUE TO THE FLOODING AND THERE ARE LIKELY MANY SECONDARY ROADWAYS THAT REMAIN FLOODED AND POSSIBLY DAMAGED BY THE FLOODING RAINFALL. ANY FLOOD WATERS WILL BE SLOW TO RECEDE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
