...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
Indiana...

  Big Walnut Creek...Buck Creek...Driftwood River...Eagle Creek...East
  Fork White River...Eel River...Flatrock River...Haw Creek...Mill 
  Creek...Mississinewa River...Muscatatuck River...Sugar Creek...
  Tippecanoe River...Wabash River...White Lick Creek...White River...
  Wildcat Creek...Youngs Creek...


.Significant to near significant river flooding will develop along
the Muscatatuck...White and East Fork White Rivers in southern
Indiana by the weekend.  Flood crests will approach those seen in
July 1979.  In central Indiana...widespread flooding will prevail
through Thursday.  Flooding is not expected along the upper White
River from the Muncie area through the Ravenswood area.

The latest round of storms dumped 2 to more than 6 inches of
rainfall on a wet central and southeast Indiana during Monday and
Monday night.  Much of this area has now received 5 to over 12 inches
of rainfall during the past week.

Flooding will last from a few days on small streams to passed July 24
in southwest Indiana.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

* At 18.5 feet...Nearing a major flood.  CR 760 E is flooded north of 
  the river gaging station.  Water is 2 or more feet deep on  
  portions of this road south of the gaging station.  Numerous county
  roads and several state roads are also flooded.  Local river 
  residents watch the river as it rises above this level.

  River Road and Rager Road.

* At 27.9 feet...During the March 2008 flood the following roads were 
  reported closed in article by the Bedford Times published on March 
  26, 2008 assuming the interview took place on March 25:  Peerless 
  Road, Lawrenceport Tunnelton Road, Pumphouse Road, Indiana Stote 
  Road 450, Stumphole Bridge Road, Mill Creek Road, Earl Road, Dillon
  Road, River Road and Rager Road.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow late morning and 
  continue to rise to near 13.8 feet by Saturday early afternoon.the 
  river will fall below flood stage by Wednesday evening.
* At 14.0 feet...Flooding approaches local residents located on low 
  flood plain areas on local streams.  State Road 450 just east of 
  Williams is extensively flooded and becomes a recreational area for
  local geese and ducks.  Only the highest campgrounds at Williams 
  Dam are out of water.  Huron and Williams Road (Williams Wooden 
  Bridge road) flooded immediately south of Indiana 450 just west of 
  Williams.  Dillman Road (CR 1000 W)  immediately north of Indiana 
  450 begins to flood. Indiana 450 begins to flood at Coxton Road.

* At 12.9 feet...On February 28, 2011...water was within 2 or 3 inches
  of flowing over SR 334 at the west edge of Zionsville.  Water was 
  up to 4 feet deep on Temple Ave between Turkey Foot and Willow Rds.
  One residence on Temple Ave began to flood.  Extensive flooding of 
  Zionsville Golf Course, Lions Park and Creekside Nature Park.  
  Turkey Foot Rd north of Temple Ave, the intersection of Fords Road 
  and 96th St, the intersection of Willow Rd and Templin Rd and 
  Holliday Rd were extensively flooded.

  the water only reached the white line of SR 257 south of 
  Washington, but never closed the road.  Shoals only went to 11.67 
  feet during April 2013.  This is the first that locals can remember
  such a high stage for Petersburg and SR 257 remaining open.

* At 13.2 feet...Lowland flooding in progress along Driftwood River in
  northern Bartholomew County on April 6, 2011. Double Y Saddle Club 
  area flooded.  At least 6 inches of water flowing over CR 950N to 
  Club. Water is less than one foot away from CR 330W just south of 
  its intersection with Ohio Ridge Rd. CR 500N west of CR 250W is 
  flooded blocking vehicular access to residences near the river 
  bank. Lowell Public Access site is open but ramp is totally 
  flooded. Water close to one residence at Shelby CR 1000S and CR 
  900W.
