IN ADDITION TO THE FLOODING THREAT...STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS LATE
THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS. AN ISOLATED
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM COULD OCCUR...MAINLY OVER THE PIEDMONT. EVEN
NORMALLY SUB SEVERE WIND GUSTS MAY BLOW DOWN A FEW TREES AND
CAUSE SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES GIVEN THE VERY WET GROUND.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

AND EAST OF THE INTERSTATE 77 CORRIDOR LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH
THIS EVENING. THE PRIMARY THREAT WILL BE FROM VERY HEAVY RAINFALL
AND PERHAPS LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING. FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE...AND A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE. EVEN NORMALLY SUB SEVERE WIND
GUSTS MAY BLOW DOWN A FEW TREES AND CAUSE SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES
