AFTERNOON AND EVENING ACROSS MUCH OF CENTRAL TO WESTERN NEW
MEXICO. A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT.

A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN EASTERN NEW
MEXICO TODAY...GENERALLY ALONG AND EAST OF A CLAYTON TO RUIDOSO
LINE. HAIL...STRONG TO POTENTIALLY DAMAGING THUNDERSTORM
WINDS...AND AREAS OF BLOWING DUST WILL BE A CONCERN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THE WEATHER PATTERN WILL REMAIN CONDUCIVE TO CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS OVER MUCH OF CENTRAL TO WESTERN NEW MEXICO FRIDAY
THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL REMAIN CONFINED TO
EASTERN NEW MEXICO WHERE THE POTENTIAL FOR A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE
CELLS WILL PERSIST.
