THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 324 CONTINUES.

SUMMARY...SEVERE THREAT HAS TRANSITIONED TO MAINLY A LARGE HAIL AND
STRONG WIND THREAT FROM EARLIER TORNADO THREAT. STORMS MAY CONTINUE
TO PRODUCE LARGE HAIL/GUSTY WINDS FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

DISCUSSION...TWO STORMS IN THE WATCH AREA CONTINUE TO BE THE MAIN
AREAS OF CONCERN. ONE STORM IS ACROSS THE NRN WATCH AREA IN
SOUTHWESTERN THROCKMORTON COUNTY WHILE THE SECOND STORM IS FURTHER
SOUTH OVER MASON COUNTY. WHILE BOTH OF THESE STORMS EARLIER HAD
TORNADO WARNINGS AND LIKELY TORNADOES OCCURRING...THE THREAT HAS
LARGELY TRANSITIONED TO A HAIL AND STRONG WIND THREAT.
ADDITIONALLY...IR IMAGERY HAS SHOWN A WARMING OF CLOUD TOPS OVER THE
LAST HOUR OR SO AND A GENERAL WEAKENING TREND MAY OCCUR OVER THE
NEXT 2-3 HOURS. CONVECTIVE TRENDS WILL BE MONITORED TO EVALUATE THE
NEED OF POSSIBLE WATCH EXTENSION OR NEW WW ISSUANCE AS WW 324
