NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
0838 PM CDT WED MAY 30 2012

AREAS AFFECTED...THE ERN OK AND TEXAS PANHANDLES AND ERN SOUTH
PLAINS

CONCERNING...TORNADO WATCH 322...

VALID 310138Z - 310315Z

THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 322 CONTINUES.

SUMMARY...THE TORNADO THREAT IS ENDING OVER MUCH OF THE
WATCH...EXCEPT FOR FAR SRN AREAS WHERE A SUPERCELL IS ONGOING.
HOWEVER...THE THREAT FOR ADDITIONAL SEVERE STORMS APPEARS LIKELY
OVER THE ERN OK PANHANDLE AND EVENTUALLY INTO THE ERN TX PANHANDLE
LATER THIS EVENING.

DISCUSSION...A STRONG SUPERCELL WILL EXIT THE TORNADO WATCH FROM
STONEWALL INTO HASKELL COUNTY NEAR THE EXPIRATION TIME. THIS WILL
END THE TORNADO THREAT FOR THE MOST PART...BUT ADDITIONAL STORMS ARE
CONGEALING OVER KS...AND THE WRN EDGE OF THESE STORMS AND COMPOSITE
OUTFLOW/COLD FRONT SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO PRODUCE MORE STORMS THIS
EVENING WITH WIND AND HAIL. THEREFORE...ANOTHER WATCH MAY EVENTUALLY
BE NEEDED.
