THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

       NORTH-CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS
       EXTREME SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA

EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY AFTERNOON FROM 520 PM UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 60 STATUTE
MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 60 MILES NORTHWEST OF
RUSSELL KANSAS TO 30 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST OF TOPEKA KANSAS.  FOR
