SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE MOUNTAINS OF NORTH CAROLINA
THIS MORNING MAY SPREAD INTO THE FOOTHILLS AND POSSIBLY THE
PIEDMONT BEFORE DISSIPATING LATER THIS MORNING. THE MAIN THREAT
FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...GUSTY WINDS
AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL.

ANOTHER ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE
AREA THIS AFTERNOON. DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL WILL BE THE
MAIN THREAT WITH THESE STORMS.
