THIS SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ALERT IS FOR NORTHERN LEA COUNTY. A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 13 MILES SOUTH OF CAPROCK AT 1010 AM MDT...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. SMALL HAIL AND STRONG WINDS AROUND 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM MDT SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO AND WEST TEXAS.
